Get ready, Pensacola! GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Matisyahu is headed to Vinyl Music Hall on Tuesday, October 28 as part of his Ancient Child Tour. The 15-city trek launches October 11 in Buffalo, NY, and finishes up October 29 in Orlando, FL. This stop is one of your last chances to catch the show live. Special guest Aaron Dugan will join him on stage.

For two decades, Matisyahu has built a career blending reggae, hip-hop, alt-rock, and pop into a sound uniquely his own which is rooted in spirituality and his Jewish heritage. He first broke through with his 2005 Gold-certified live album Live at Stubb’s and the hit single “King Without a Crown.” Since then, he’s released several chart-topping records, including Youth (2006), Light (2009 featuring the Gold-certified anthem “One Day,” streamed over 150 million times on Spotify and Spark Seeker (2012). His more recent work, including the 2023 EP Hold the Fire, continues to showcase his evolution as both storyteller and performer, known for powerful, improvisational live shows that blend energy, reflection, and faith.
Matisyahu’s new 12-track album, Ancient Child, finds the artist reconnecting with his Jewish roots and faith in the wake of October 7. Blending influences from across his 20-year career, Ancient Child defies genre boundaries, drawing from reggae, rock, and hip-hop without settling into any one form. Lyrically, Matisyahu explores history, identity, and destiny through a lens that combines childlike wonder with generational wisdom, crafting music that is honest, emotional, and spiritually driven.
The album also features recent singles “Rockin Tempos“, with Matisyahu’s second eldest son Duvbear, and “Find A Way.” The artwork for Ancient Child was created by visual artist Andrew Cotton, who produced original paintings for the album and each single. Limited-edition prints of the artwork will also be available. Ancient Child is currently available on all major streaming platforms. PRESS HERE to listen
