KARNEY Rings in the Holidays with Festive New Single

Bay Area rock songstress Anna Karney is bringing her signature spark to the holiday season with her new single, “Ring in the Holidays,” out today. Hot on the heels of her acclaimed album One True Song, the track was recorded entirely by KARNEY herself and co-produced, mixed, and mastered by Michael Rosen at East Bay Recorders. With its jangly bells, punk-inspired edge, and undeniable sing-along spirit, “Ring in the Holidays” is the perfect way to start the holidays.

While One True Song showcased her ability to create rich, soulful folk-rock, “Ring in the Holidays,” is pure punk edge, with a dose of holiday jingle. With images of bells in her head, Silver Bells, Ukrainian Bells, and of course Jingle Bells, and a bit of The Ramones, the single was born.

In addition to her music, KARNEY is a choral teacher and conductor for middle and high school students in the San Francisco public school system, helping inspire the next generation of musicians and earning her the “Dreamcatcher” Award for her impact on San Francisco’s youth through music education.
