Earthday Birthday returns to Orlando this spring with another massive lineup of rock and alternative acts set to fill the Central Florida Fairgrounds with a full day of live music.
For rock fans across Central Florida, Earthday Birthday has become a yearly tradition. Every spring, thousands gather at the Central Florida Fairgrounds for a full day of loud guitars, packed crowds, and a lineup that mixes established rock acts with rising artists from across the scene.
Set for Saturday, March 21, Earthday Birthday 2026 will take place at the Central Florida Fairgrounds and Orlando Amphitheater, where thousands of fans are expected to gather for more than ten hours of live music. Gates open at 11 a.m., and the event will run through the evening with performances scheduled across multiple stages.
Hosted by Orlando rock station 101.1 WJRR and presented by Farah and Farah, the annual festival has become a staple of the region’s music scene.
Over the years, Earthday Birthday has built a reputation for bringing together a mix of major touring acts, rising bands, and regional talent, and this year’s lineup continues that tradition.
Leading the 2026 bill are rock veterans Three Days Grace, whose catalog of radio staples and arena-sized hooks has kept them firmly planted on festival stages for years. They’ll be joined by I Prevail, the Grammy-nominated metalcore outfit known for their high-energy live shows and massive sing-along moments that tend to take over crowds at rock festivals.
Also appearing on the lineup is Mammoth WVH, the project led by Wolfgang Van Halen, which has quickly gained attention on the touring circuit with a modern hard rock sound and tight live performances. Rising rock act Sleep Theory will also take the stage, continuing their steady climb through the alternative and active rock scene.
Beyond the headliners, the festival features a diverse lineup of bands scheduled throughout the day. Acts such as The Funeral Portrait, Des Rocs, Return to Dust, Nevertel, Kurt Deimer, Jakobs Castle, James and the Cold Gun, and The Pretty Wild round out the lineup, giving fans a mix of modern rock, alternative, and heavier sounds across the schedule.
While national touring acts bring the big crowds, Earthday Birthday has also become known for giving local artists a chance to step onto a much larger stage. This year, that spotlight falls on Twin Rova, a South Florida band that earned their place on the festival lineup after winning WJRR’s 2026 Battle of the Bands competition.
For a group that has been steadily building momentum in the Florida scene, the opportunity marks a major milestone. Twin Rova has already made a name for themselves in regional venues and festival appearances, including performances at Warped Pour and Warped Tour Orlando in 2025. Their growing fanbase and energetic live shows have made them a favorite within the local music community, and their addition to Earthday Birthday reflects the festival’s long-standing support of emerging artists.
Speaking about the opportunity, the band said:
“We’re beyond grateful and stoked for this opportunity. As Florida boys who grew up listening to WJRR and going to Earthday Birthday, it’s a dream come true to be on the lineup with such legends!”
In addition to the music, Earthday Birthday offers plenty for fans to explore throughout the day. The festival grounds will feature food trucks, art displays, and other entertainment scattered around the fairgrounds. One returning highlight is the EDBD Loud Lounge Warehouse, where DJ SlymN will keep the energy going between band sets.
Another unique attraction this year is the EDBD Sideshow, which will include MWO Wrestling’s “Wrestling with the Monsters in the Morning,” adding an extra dose of spectacle to the day’s entertainment lineup.
As with most large festivals, attendees should be aware of a few logistics before arriving. Earthday Birthday operates as a cashless event, meaning food, drinks, and merchandise will need to be purchased using debit or credit cards. Organizers also remind fans to purchase tickets only through official outlets and to avoid third-party vendors to ensure valid entry into the festival.
There is also no re-entry once a ticket has been scanned, meaning fans who enter the festival grounds should plan to stay for the duration of the event. Security will also be enforcing bag policies, allowing small clear bags, sealed bottled water, blankets, inflatable seating, and medical items, while larger bags, coolers, outside food and beverages, drones, and folding chairs will not be permitted inside.
The festival box office will open at 9 a.m. on the day of the event, two hours before gates open.
With more than a dozen bands scheduled throughout the day and thousands of fans expected to fill the fairgrounds, Earthday Birthday continues to hold its place as one of Central Florida’s largest annual rock gatherings. For longtime attendees it’s a familiar tradition, and for newer fans it’s a chance to experience the energy of the local rock scene all in one place.
