Drew & Ellie Holcomb Bring a Career-Spanning Set to the Greek Theatre

Husband-and-wife songwriters Drew and Ellie Holcomb took the stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on August 18, opening the night for NEEDTOBREATHE.

The two have spent nearly two decades making music alongside one another while also building careers of their own, and the set reflected both sides of that. They pulled from their individual catalogs as well as songs they have released together, trading lead vocals and joining each other on harmonies throughout the performance.

Ahead of the tour, Drew released his own version of Ellie’s “Constellations,” while Ellie recorded a version of Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors’ “What Would I Do Without You.” Both songs came out of their recent Never Gonna Let You Go Tour and followed Memory Bank, their first full-length album together. That back-and-forth continued throughout the set, with Drew and Ellie moving between each other’s songs and their collaborative material.
