Country Summer 2025 is back here in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds is a 200-acre lot and it’s characterized with line dancing, various food and beverage vendors that serve Sonoma County, local artisans, and RV Camping-with a fee of course. The fairgrounds is stretched out with beautiful foliage to enjoy some time relaxing on lawn chairs, a picnic, dancing, or laying a blanket down and soaking up the sun while listening to various artists perform.
All the way from Nashville, TN we have LANCO opening up Country Summer. LANCO took a hiatus to focus on their families and raising their kids, so it was nice to have them here at Country Summer. LANCO’s set was very enthusiastic, energetic, and crowd engaging for sure. The guitarist, bassist, and front man, Brandon Lancaster took every opportunity to utilize the catwalk on the Chevy stage to engage with their crowd. LANCO sang some of their hits including “Pick You Up” “Wild Again” and “Greatest Love Story“
Season 16 superstar Gabby Barrett hits the Chevy stage in a sequence corset, a shimmery red lance flag complimenting her mic stand, and flowy like bellbottoms paired with a big flower patterned belt. Barrett sings her hits “The Good Ones” “Never Get Back” “I hope” and so many more. The sun was definitely hot for Barrett’s set but that didn’t phase her and her teammates from dancing, performing insane guitar solos and having the crow singing along to Journey’s iconic hit “Don’t Stop Believin‘”. During Barrett’s performance, she’s seen dancing and playing a tambourine, somehow, a fan grabbed her attention and next thing you know- she’s seen handing it over to a fan, what a class act!
Closing out the night, we have Cedartown, Georgia’s very own Sam Hunt! Hunt opens up this gorgeous Friday night here in Sonoma County with “Raised on It” “House Party” “Kinfolks” and my favorite, “23“. As the Bay Area breeze sets in, Hunt delivers an incredible performance with an insane lighting set, phenomenal audio, smoke cannons, and jumps down into the crowd while singing “Take Your Time“. In a recent interview with Entertainment Now, Hunt shares that he plays with the idea of retiring, yet, something always bring him back to the studio. In his latest single “Country House“, it’s a reflection of where Hunt is currently at in life; tucked away from the city, enjoying fatherhood, and being with loved ones. Catch Sam Hunt on his remaining “Locked Up Tour” https://www.samhunt.com/tour – who knows when Hunt decides to hang up his hat for the long haul.
