
On April 27, 2025, COLD brought their “25 Years of 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage” tour to Pensacola’s Vinyl Music Hall, delivering a night of raw emotion and nostalgic resonance. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal album 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage and the 20th anniversary of A Different Kind of Pain, the band performed both albums in their entirety, offering fans a comprehensive journey through their musical evolution.
The evening commenced with Thrower, whose gritty performance set an intense tone. Their fusion of industrial and alternative rock elements captivated early attendees, laying a solid foundation for the night.
Next, University Drive took the stage, enveloping the venue in atmospheric melodies and introspective lyrics. Their shoegaze-infused sound provided a contemplative contrast, resonating deeply with the audience.





September Mourning followed, delivering a theatrical set that blended gothic rock with visual storytelling. Frontwoman Emily Lazar’s commanding presence and the band’s immersive performance added a dramatic flair, heightening anticipation for the headliner.















As COLD emerged, the crowd’s anticipation peaked. Opening with “Just Got Wicked,” the band launched into 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage, performing each track with unwavering intensity. Scooter Ward’s emotive vocals and the band’s cohesive musicianship transported fans back to the early 2000s, evoking memories and emotions tied to the album’s themes.





Transitioning seamlessly, COLD delved into A Different Kind of Pain, showcasing their growth and versatility. Tracks like “Happens All the Time” and the title song highlighted the band’s ability to convey vulnerability and strength simultaneously. The audience’s engagement remained palpable, with many singing along, creating a communal atmosphere of shared experience.
COLD’s performance at Vinyl Music Hall was more than a concert; it was a heartfelt homage to their enduring legacy and the fans who’ve supported them throughout their journey.
