Popping champagne because All Time Low brought their “Everyone’s Talking Tour” to downtown San Jose on Tuesday, Oct 21. The lineup was supported by The Paradox, The Cab, and Mayday Parade. I didn’t get a chance to catch The Paradox and The Cab, however, seeing Mayday Parade is always a pleasure due to high energy, crowd engagement, and being able to celebrate 20 years as a band.
2024 marked 20 years of The Party Scene which introduced the Maryland four-piece band to the world. During this time Front man, Alex Gaskarth began to meet the remaining members to put together their tenth studio album Everyone’s Talking! which was released on Oct 17th. The band is now hitting the road to share the album with their fans.
In October 2021, All Time Low faced defamation from online allegations regarding sexual misconduct from guitarist, Jack Barakat. Allegation rose from TikTok which spread like wildfire onto other online platforms where several allegations came to light. The band and involved parties settled the score in November 2024 when the investigation found that statements made were conspiracies towards the band and guitarist, Jack Barakat. The band spoke with Rolling Stone regarding resolutions to claims against them.
During this time, All Time Low kept moving forward by selling out multiple shows celebrating 20 years as a band, releasing singles, and announcing their upcoming album, “Everyone’s Talking!”
As All Time Low took the stage, their introduction was very 80’s sitcom inspired by introducing opening bands with terrible out-takes, whimsical verbiage, and childlike humor having a clip of All Time Low guitarist, Jack Barakat on the toilet.
Lead singer, Alex Gaskarth sang an acoustic version of “Cold” of their album “The Weather”. Alex ran off stage while remaining members took the stage with vibrant colors, screen effects, and various stage equipment that gave a 2000’s jungle-gym vibe.
Their setlist included “SUCKERPUNCH“, “Weightless” “Dirty Laundry” “Sleeping In” and other songs from past albums.
Make sure to catch All Time Low before they go oversees beginning December! See dates at https://www.alltimelow.com/tour and check out photos bellow!
