Festival promoter Danny Whimmer brings the largest multi genre rock festival back to Northern California October 1st-4th. Since 2012 Aftershock has had the biggest and best names playing rock, punk, and metal. This year there is also some hip-hop and Nu-metal slipped into the lineup. Danny Wimmer is well known for hosting legendary festivals across the country such as Louder than Life, Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, and Inkcarceration Festival. With an impressive resume like that, you can be sure Aftershock will continue year after year.

This year you can expect unforgettable sets from headlining bands My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit, Pierce the Veil and Tool. On the other mainstage, equally iconic bands will be playing such as The Offspring, Suicideboys, A Day To Remember, And Queens of the Stone Age.

After days on end of partying, it is important to refuel. This year Aftershock boasts 27 different food vendors. There is also water refuel stations throughout the festival grounds. Be sure to bring a plastic water bottle, as metal or glass is prohibited. If you found that you brought to much stuff with you or buy some sweet merch there are lockers for rent. The lockers come with a universal phone charger. When you find yourself needing a breather, you can hit one of the many bars or lounges to kick your feet up and relax for a while.
