Best Songs/Albums of 2018: Part 2

Thrice continues to deliver some of my favorite music and their latest album Palms was no different. It had some new things sound wise for them but they really put together a solid group of songs. Favorite song on this album is – “A Branch In The River”.

Pray For The WickedPanic! At The Disco

I’ve never been a massive fan of Panic! but I heard a lot of people talking about this album and so I had to check it out. The whole album is just a really awesome and really fun to sing along to in the car. Favorite song on this album – “Old Fashioned”.

Golden HourKacey Musgraves

This album was definitely a surprise for me because this is definitely not the type of music that I normally listen to. But Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour is an album that I keep coming back to, to listen to over and over again. Favorite song on this album is – “Space Cowboy”.

Look Up ChildLauren Daigle

I caught on to this album kind of late in the year but I’m glad that this album came onto my radar. Lauren Daigle has some seriously good pipes and all of the songs on this album are amazing. Favorite song on this album is – “Love Like This”

I finally had the chance to catch Chvrches live this year and had the chance to hear some of the songs off Love Is Dead. This is just a really catchy fun album to listen to. Favorite song on this album is – “Deliverance”.

TrenchTwenty One Pilots

This was probably my most anticipated album of the whole year. I was very interested to see how Twenty One Pilots would follow up Blurryface. I think they did a really awesome job and although I missed them on the last tour, I really can’t wait to see how these songs sound live. Favorite song on this album is – “Chlorine” or “Pet Cheetah”.
