Concert Crap: You recently released “Sink In The Water,” the first of six new tunes you’ll be releasing this year. How did the idea for “Sink In The Water” start?

Greg Sanderson: It started with an idea for a lyric that i wrote to myself in gmail chat. Added a bit of a riff (can’t believe I said riff) in the practice room. Things came together pretty quick.

CC: In three words, how would you describe the track to someone who is on the fence about listening to it?

GS: Is, fence, uncomfortable?

CC: What is something unexpected in the track that might take listeners a while to pick up?

GS: I guess writing about getting old is a bit unexpected. It’s not something you tend to be keen to reminded of. It’s much more fun to hear about you’ll have a great time forever and won’t get a bad back. But the thing is, you probably will get a bad back.

CC: What do you hope listeners take away from the single?

GS: I’d love it if they wanted to listen to our other songs.

CC: What can we expect from the next five tracks? When will they be available?

GS: We’ll just be popping them out this year. Stay tuned hun!

CC: Is there anything else you’d like to add?

GS: Yes. Buy a microwave.
