After becoming the breakout artist at 2017’s SXSW, performing at a string of other music festivals, and touring in late 2017 in support of Pvris and Lights’ U.S. tour; Flint Eastwood continues to stun Pvris fans once more on their current 2018 U.S. run.
Flint Eastwood’s most recent release, 2017’s EP Broke Royalty, was inspired by her own personal experiences. In 2015 she cofounded Assemble Sound, a collaborative space in Detroit for musicians to meet, share resources, and work together. She helped raise funds to purchase an old church from the 1870’s, and renovate it as a community. This is still the space she utilizes to write and record her own music, and sparked the creation of Broke Royalty.
The music and performance she brings is just as impressive and inspirational as the person behind them. Flint Eastwood’s shows are often described as constant motion. She brings life into the lyrics behind her music, and expertly works the stage and engages the crowd. Flint Eastwood’s shows are full of energy, and she is the perfect artist to open the night for Pvris. Fans have been so receptive and entranced by Flint Eastwood, this second U.S. run eerily seems like a co-headline tour. In fact, it won’t take long for this young artist to be headlining those very same venues she’s currently the support act for.
