Interview: Them Evils talk most recent tour, influences, and more

Concert Crap: You guys have been on and are soon finishing the tour with The Pretty Reckless, how has that been?

The tour with The Pretty Reckless was amazing. Playing in front of sold out crowds every night and connecting with a whole new group of people was surreal. We never want it to end!

CC: Who are your biggest musical influences?

AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Jack White, Wolfmother, Jet, and the list goes on and on.

CC: What would your dream tour lineup look like?

Touring with AC/DC would be the ultimate rock n roll dream!

CC: Do you have any pre-show rituals?

Jordan does vocal warm-ups. David is listening to his iPod, while air drumming all over the place. We all have some whiskey before we go on.

CC: What is the craziest thing that has happened to you on tour?

We ran into Vinnie Paul on three different tour stops. First being in Las Vegas for the kickoff of The Pretty Reckless tour. Second time was in Dallas at Gas Monkey Live where we ended up hanging out at The Clubhouse. The third time was in New York when we ran into him at SiriusXM Octane.

CC: The amount of great bands from Orange County is pretty crazy, has that pushed you to work even harder so that you can be one of those bands?

There is a ton of bands from Orange County that have become successful. We’re going to be the next successful rock ‘n roll band.

CC: Do you have plans for a full LP in the works?

We have started writing for the next release. It’s not certain as far as length goes. You’ll have to keep checking up on us to find out!

CC: Anything else you want people to know about Them Evils?

We just released a music video on YouTube for our single, “Untold”, off of our self titled EP. Go check out our website for all social media outlets, music, merch, and all that good stuff!
